Most of my work is in support of mission-based nonprofits and schools. This is no accident. I began this work in service of ideas and organizations that were important to me. I continued in the work because I saw it as a way to earn a living while serving the greater good. I'm honest. I charge fair prices, meet deadlines and keep you informed when new decisions could result in additional costs.
I am committed to doing the right thing and only collaborate with sub-contractors who share this commitment.
Recently, a friend commented that, of the people he knows, I am one of the lucky few who work almost exclusively with folks who share their values. For a moment I stopped to appreciate how fortunate I am that this is true. Then I reflected that, though luck certainly has played a small role, I work hard — every day — to create what is now a successful business servicing the nonprofit and education sectors. When I manage to unglue the phone from my head and get my hands off the keyboard, I try to pause and acknowledge my gratitude for the opportunity.
